The Wiki is a open editing webpage that allows users to updates, create and edit freely any page in the Web site. Allowing everyday users to create and edit any page in a Web site is exciting in that it encourages democratic use of the Web and promotes content composition by nontechnical users. Blog is a collection of content that organized repetitively. Readers and visitors can subscribe to the blog so that they can consume the content in a variety of different means, tools, devices, and applications. A blog typically focuses on a particular subject matter for clarity, focus, and can be built by hand, manually through writing the post, uploading to a website via FTP, and then publishing. It typically can be read in a number of different formats including the homepage, single post page, categories, tags, and also via RSS and other such syndication technologies.
The convergence in today's networked world is significant, efficient and convenient. It is much inevitable and will result in new service and new demand in the market. The blog plays important role in collaborating. For example based on the article How can we Measure the Influence of the Blogoshpere? By Kathy E. Gill. http://faculty.washington.edu/kegill/pub/www2004_blogosphere_gill.pdf,
Bolgs demonstrate influence on journalism and new agenda. Also Web promised active communities and social networks can share ideas, and shaping new realities. More over, people can post various topics, therefore, it attracts various audiences. Blogging can empower writers to challenge a storyline presented by mainstream media.
New use for wiki allows groups of users to create, edit and comment on online documents and each team member could contribute and access up to date information on the project according to the article, How to Build Your Own Wikipedia and the team had the most current information, they were able to make better decisions and get the project done faster. http://www.cio.com/article/336818/More_on_How_to_Build_Your_Own_Wikipedia#sthash.QDdjxclz.dpuf
Whether for new use for wiki done or not is uncertain for me. However, there are more positives than negatives to using wikis. It doesn't require a lot of personnel to support them and many of the tools are free. At some companies using it with out getting help from IT. Thus, as a corporate applications it is efficient and effective.

A purposeful loss of privacy
Hi, every
one. My topic is Social Networking: A purposeful loss of privacy
Today, one of
the most popular social networks can consider as face book. There are 1.01 billion face book users which is the
one seventh of the world population. Not surprisingly, because of increasing number
of users, privacy concerns have been increasing.
Thus, I will
do research on
·
How many people giving out their personal
information to the public.
·
How
others can see our profile even though we set privacy setting.
·
What are the most controversial lawsuits
raising from Facebook these days.
·
How others know where you are and what you are
doing?
·
What should we say on the Facebook, what shouldn’t.
·
Is
there any other ways to protect our privacy?
In order to fully disclose those information, I will choose recent artilces and News regarding to Face book.
