File sharing is the distributing of digital information such as computer programs multimedia, documents or electronic books. The P2P is “ peer to peer” networking.  The “peer to peer” network enables computer hardware and software to function without special service devices.   In the article,  “Online piracy and the emergence of new business models” the author David Y. Choi, mentioned that there are file sharing software applications like Kazza, Gnutella and BitTorrent which helps the P2P clients applications to upload and download files such as music, videos and documents over P2P network services.
